FOOD PANTRY PROGRAM

CEDA's Food Pantry provides emergency assistance to individuals and families with short-term food needs. Food boxes contain non-perishable food items. Water, fruit, and bread are occasionally available. Baby items such as infant formula, baby food, and diapers may also be available. Walk-in clients are able to pick up food boxes every 60 days. Two forms of ID are required for the primary person. One ID is required for each additional member of the household. Accepted forms of identification include driver’s licenses, social security cards, immunization records, birth certificates, medical cards, and immigration cards. Case managers from Arizona agencies are also welcome to pick up emergency food boxes for their clients. All IDs are required at each visit. Please call for pick-up hours.



ARIZONA SELF-HELP PROGRAM

Clients are able to use www.arizonaselfhelp.org in our office to find out if they qualify for benefits. This service prescreens and provides information on food stamps, WIC, Section 8, utility discount programs, TANF, AHCCCS, childcare assistance, social security, Medicare, and other programs. The Arizona Self-Help website is managed by the Arizona Community Action Association and is available in English and Spanish. For an appointment, please call 480-921-1990.

 


FIRST THINGS FIRST PROGRAM

Through a fund granted by Arizona Early Childhood Development and Health Board, CEDA serves the needs of children ages 0-5. CEDA provides supplies including but not limited to: baby food boxes, formula, diapers, infant food, and commodities to families with young children. Case managers from Arizona agencies are also welcome to pick up emergency food boxes for their clients. All IDs are required at each visit. Please call for pick-up hours.
